Organic vs Synthetic Artists

Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man

Target audience are country and rock lovers. They place emphasise on the music they play and they are musicians in comparison to a pop artist who just sings. They appeal to a person who listens to indie music rather than mainstream as they have to prove themselves by lip syncing. Location in the music venue playing a gig shows they are a alternative country/rock band and are proper musicians. Swish pans and dutch tilts used as irregular camera angles. Close ups of cello and banjo show that their organic. Mise-en scene is key in identifying that they are a rock folk band to their target audience. Close ups to sell star image of authentic band and organic status. Close ups of sweating help sell their real and authentic image. Target audience primarily males over 20.
